"Mona Passage" by Thomas Bardenwerper will probably be a great read for many people. It just isn't a book that worked for me. I think my biggest struggle was the change in narration from the prologue to chapter one. It's a pretty standard feature in novels; however, for some reason this shift didn't work and I couldn't get into the actual novel. But I can see the story is well written and engaging, just not for me.
