Thank you to Bookish First and the publisher for sending me a copy of "Missing Isaac" by Valerie Fraser Luesse. This book had a little bit of "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee feeling to it. This classic is not one of my favorites but the message is good. With some of the current political concerns the messages in "Missing Isaac" are poignant and important. No matter what ethnicity, culture, and any appearance people are people and therefore all deserve to be treated with respect and kindness. This book encourages kindness and respect and I am happy that it was published. The more our world can focus on the positive and love in the world and between each other the better off we will be. For this reason, beyond the fact that the book is good, I am happy to suggest it all.
