I love the idea of this book. I, personally, was raised in the South and my dad’s best friend was an African American boy in the 50’s. I’ve heard my dad tell of the struggles his friend had and how my dad had to stand up for his friend on many occasions. Lately, we hear of only the bad things of that time period between the two races. However, there were also many loving, unbiased people there too. It would be an honor to read this book early. I would love to review it because I am actually close to two people who lived it. Thank you for the opportunity. Good luck with the publication process.
