This will be an amazing book. I love stories about friendship and how it knows no boundaries. A true friend will be there and stand up for you no matter what the obstacle is, even if all others turn their backs or it puts them in danger. I can only imagine what it was like for Isaac and Pete back in their time. I always hesitate to read or watch anything to do with racism because it breaks my heart to see how mean one human can be to another all because of their race or anything else for that matter.
