This book is about my time and place. I lived in Alabama in the 1960s. I know the problems we had and I know the fear of losing someone. I look forward to reading this book. When money and power get mixed into a relationship, adding racial differences only makes it more difficult. Most of the time, there is a racial antagonism in adults in Alabama - even today. Maybe the book will give us an alternative to the hate that some people feal and exhibit.
