I want to read this book. The author captures the feeling of small town idyll family life in the opening chapter. It will be interesting to read how it moves into the character of Isaac disappearing and how Pete deals with it. I loved how the author creates Pete as a kid who likes and loves his father but it makes me sad how it seems that same father is going to be taken from his so soon.
