This looks really good! First, I love the setting of the south during the Civil Rights era. The blurb we are given to review is quite shirt, but leaves you with a lot of questions. Is Pete's father okay? Why is Issac all wet? Did he fall in the sinkhole too, or perhaps was trying to rescue his father? It seems like Issac cares about Pete a lot, so it'll be interesting to see the dedication Pete has when Issac goes missing later in the book. I am putting this on my TBR pile right now!
