This short first impression combined with the book's description make me want to read this immediately! I already feel for Pete, and already like Isaac...I can imagine the kind of friendship the two forge out of tragedy. This book seems to be a fairly unique take on race relations during the Civil Rights era - I hope it's as good as I think it will be!
