I love that the book starts out in the middle of the action, as we are introduced to a young boy who lives on a farm who's not having a very good day. We get a glimpse of the bond between the main character and Isaac, one of his dad's farm hands, and I'm excited to see how the rest of the story plays out as Isaac goes missing.
