Missing Isaac begins with a tragic event, and introduces us to Pete and Isaac. I really appreciated that Valerie Fraser Luesse shows us the setting of the story rather than telling us. From these pages, as well as the cover, we already have the impression that this will be a somber, emotional story. So far, it feels like the cover is quite fitting for the book, and I'm curious about how the story will develop.
