A tale of the south, of love and loss and relationships

Pete is a young boy in the south in the 1960’s, enjoying his boyhood and idolizing his father. Then, the unimaginable happens and Peter is fatherless. His friend Isaac who works on the family cotton farm tries to shield Peter from his loss, but what can really replace his beloved father. Nothing will ever be the same again. This is a very short view of the book, but it certainly looks intriguing so far!
