A quiet evening - Pete playing checkers with his grandfather, his mom busy in the kitchen preparing an evening meal, waiting for her husband Isaac to return from work. Then in an instant their whole life changes when a truck carrying Isaac's friends, comes roaring up to their house. Pete, his mother and grandfather all get into the truck and it roars off. They stop and see something that will forever change their lives.
