I long to stumble upon a small town such as Wicklow. To meet people such as Anna Kate. There is so much history and magic within them that you are just drawn to them. Much like this story. I could read it again and again and still be just as elated. Anna Kate is a character I can see myself in. She keeps everybody just far enough away that she won’t be hurt when she leaves because that’s all she has ever known. But the people of Wicklow have a different plan and they don’t intend on letting her push them away. Small towns are good for that. Anna starts to learn about her roots and she really grows as a character trying to figure everything out while getting Zee’s affairs in order. Is small town charm enough?
