I really loved this story, it is really such a heartwarming one. This book has love, loss, regrets, forgiveness with a little magic added in.
Anna Kate had to go to Wicklow to run the Blackbird Café after Zee passed, according to terms of will. She could not sell it for 2 months. So Anna Kate was going to do that and sell it as soon as she was legally able. Put the money to medical school.
You see Anna Kate learning to let people in even though she didn't want to. She also deal with her father's family, who her mother hated so much. Anna Kate learned to that hate from her mother. Until she met Natalie and her grandfather, she slowly let them in.
You also met Natalie, Aubin, Summer, They all take you through all these emotions of as well.
The book shows you can do what you love, you can learn to deal with grief, regrets, the losses as long as you have people you can lean on others with an open heart and learn from the past.
I truly enjoyed this book a lot, was sorry to see it end. I really enjoyed all the characters and theme of this book. I highly recommend reading this book.
