I loved this endearing tale of family.

This is a beautiful endearing story of family coming together through loss of a loved one. Anna Kate's grandmother died and owned a cafe that specialized in delicious baked goods especially pies. Anna is undecided if she will stay and take over the cafe. She and her family have not spoken to each for some time and she had moved away and now has a child. Throughout the story, some special magical occurrences take place that will play out in her family eventually speaking to her and making a bond with her little girl. Her grandmother reaches out to her in certain ways and she becomes a great baker with the same touch. Everyone likes her and is a hit with the pies. She has a problem with her parents, but, mainly her father. Gradually they start talking about the past and the misunderstandings are cleared up. Anna also finds love and stays home.
