I loved absolutely everything about this book! I love the cover and I confess that I'm a cover buyer - I buy many books based on the cover alone and this one does NOT disappoint! It's a magical, heartwarming book that became an instant favorite for me. I know that I will read this book time and time again...

It's a welcome home kind of read that shows the sweet southern hospitality that's found in abundance in the small town of Wicklow, Alabama. Anna Kate Callow returns to Wicklow from Boston to bury her grandmother Zee who owned the Blackbird Café. Her grandmother leaves the café to her on one condition - that she stay in Wicklow and run the café for 2 months before selling. As much as she tries to keep everyone (especially estranged family) at arms length, she can't help but feel like she has come home and that she belongs here to carry on her family legacy. But, Anna Kate promised her mother before she died that she would finish her schooling and become a doctor - and a Callow doesn't break her promises. "Sometimes it takes a little magic to find your way home."
