Easily one of the best books I've ever read
I want to start by thanking the author and publisher for giving me the opportunity to read an advanced release copy of this book. Where to begin... first off, the cover of this book is absolutely adorable!! I was initially drawn to the cover art of the book, but then I was in love with the writing as well. I read this book in just a few days. I would've read it faster if I hadn't had actual things to do.
The story takes place in Alabama, where I am from. I was surprised as I read to recognize several of the cities and lakes that were mentioned throughout the story. For me, being an Alabama native, this book captured the beauty of small towns and the communities that live there. It was absolutely beautiful! I have already shared the book copy with my mother because I know she will love it too!
