Midnight at the Blackbird Cafe was a really fun and cute read. The plot and story were heartwarming. I really enjoyed the touch of magic intertwined with the comfort of a small southern town. Each character was very unique and enjoyable. The author had you rooting for each character in their own way. They each had their own story and answers they were seeking. I wish some individual stories went into a little more detail, but overall it was a fun read. The cover of this book is what truly grasped my attention at first, but it was the sweet story that kept me going. The bit of magic was really fun and kept me wondering who would be touched next and what they would learn. This was my first read from this author and look forward to reading more in the future.
