I enjoyed this excerpt of this book and hope to read more. I laughed out loud at the first paragraph and knew this was a book I would like. The book is filled with good hometown Southern-ness it's like a fresh-baked apple pie, comforting. Anna Kate is a good character and I want to learn more about her plus see where this magical realism goes! The cover is sweet and homey!
