This seems fairly charming, but to be perfectly honest, I wasn’t interested enough to read all 50 pages of the preview, let alone an entire book. I’m also a little...not skeptical, exactly, but wary...of magical realism as a description without any of the cultural markings of the term when used properly. *shrugs*
