I admit it. I'm the type of reader who judges a book by its cover, and Heather Webber's Midnight at the Blackbird Cafe has one delicious looking cover. I haven't read a lot of Southern fiction, but the excerpt has me intrigued, and of course, I can't resist a book with baked goods on the cover.
