This is a novel about an Raj Indian man/professor trying to find his place in white America. Raj makes an off the cuff racist joke in a meeting to interview new members for a tennis club he is a member of. His life turns into a mess as he battles the idea of being a racist. As a professor things get worse, as student also attack him as being racist. This is definitely a book that is relevant in our world today. Racism and political correctness are encompassed in this book I enjoyed this book and feel like it is definitely a story of our times. I felt for Raj and his family.
