I really enjoyed the preview of this book. The book is told from the perspective of an Indian American, Raj, who is married to a white woman. They are both members of an exclusive tennis club where Raj feels he is the token minority. He is on the membership committee and is looking to make the membership more diverse.
The writing is intelligent and humorous. I would definitely love to read more of it.
I truly appreciated the perspective. I am a white woman who is married to a Pakistani man. We go into many spaces that are vastly white. Often times things seem fine but at other times he feels like he sticks out like a sore thumb. I am very much into diversifying our spaces and hope that society gets there for my husband and son's sake and the sake of others.
