An easy read
This book was easy to read, although it seems very unlikely that such an unfortunate sequence of events would happen all within a few days in a person's life.
Raj is an instructor at a California college. Originally born on Bombay, moving to the U.S. as a young boy, he grew up being stereotyped and a victim of racism. In his current role in society, he is being accused of being racist himself. One instance of accusation was because of a horrible joke, the other was the result of a lecture that he has delivered a dozen or more times over the last decade. These accusations have lead to the uncertainty of his membership at their Tennis Club and the future of his career.
Raj has a very supportive wife and two sometimes challenging young boys that look up to him, despite his shortcomings.
