If this sample is any indication, this book is incredibly well written with a very strong narrative voice. It kept me intrigued despite the fact that I don’t usually care for fiction with plots like this one. It’s an interesting look at very real social issues from an Own Voices perspective. I’d definitely consider reading it in full!
