A couple of years ago I realized that the books I read were lacking diversity. As a white woman, I felt I needed to read more books from authors who belonged to the person of color community *about* about POC. The premise of this is really intriguing as the reader gets to navigate what it looks like to feel like an outsider for Raj and how quickly his world can turn upside down due to racism and prejudices.
