I think there's a lot of potential here but I'm not impressed with the writing. I would be willing to give it a try based on the plot and the questions the book is asking and trying to answer. I think it could be a great conversational book but again, the writing didn't hit the mark with me. I did CRINGE at Raj's joke and I have no idea how he's going to deal with this situation, especially with the backlash that he's going to receive. Of course, there is a double standard as the white folks can say racist remarks to him, remarks intended to be cruel and mean. Whereas Raj tried to make a joke and instantly regretted it. I think it'll be a good read.
