I wanted to enjoy this first impression. The premise sounds timely and I like a diverse cast. But this one fell short for me. The Browns ... the Blacks ... I don't know, it felt a bit too light hearted for such a heavy topic. There was too much back story in the beginning and I found myself scanning the pages...
