It's not that I don't think people can be this racist, intentionally or not, it's that that's a really out of date reference. Even if this book is set in a year closer to when that dumb stoner movie was still popular, as a reader that's what it feels like.
And then he obliviously does basically the same thing and compares the Browns to the Obamas at first glance. And it goes downhill from there.. But not only is Raj hypocritical, he is SO LAME. So much of what he thinks and says is lame as hell.

Also, casually spoiling the last line of a book in your book: not cool.
