The First Look on this one really got me intrigued. I almost forgot I was reading a short excerpt, I got so sucked in! Racism in America is a topic that I am always interested to read about, from the perspective of minorities. Being a white woman that strongly believes in equality, I've come to appreciate that there is a whole perspective that I cannot relate to in spite of my beliefs. Therefore, I enjoy reading books like this one that explore these topics from the perspective of those directly involved.
