I have no doubt that this book has a lot to say about race and racism, the micro aggressions faced by people of color on a daily basis. But the First Look includes the racist comment he makes, alluded to in the book summary, and it’s bad. Hard to imagine someone saying that as it occurred in the book. I’m sure the book is good but also similar to watching a trainwreck.
