Wow, this book pulled me in and made me feel as if I was in the Sahara Desert within the first two sentences of the first impression. The African setting in the 15 century is so enthralling. What a time it was, where things were so different than they are today. It gives such suspenseful vibes of power and survival, wondering what the whole story entails as me hungry for more!
