I'm already obsessed. This is one of the coolest covers ever!!! I love the elephant 🐘 I also love the setting. This is set in Timbuktu and the author did such a great job of setting the scene with the animals, the weather, desert, etc. It was like watching a movie in my mind because she describes things so well and my imagination was running wild. I have never read a book set in Mali, so I appreciated how well she described the city/country. I love the writing so much.
