I have been anticipating this story since I first read its synopsis but reading the opening chapters has increased my desire to immerse myself in its pages. I don't have much experience with African stories or African mythology but I'm eager to change that. I enjoy political fantasy and judging by the fact that the book opens with an execution, I know it'll be a good one.
