I was very impressed with the first thirty pages of "Masquerade" by O.O. Sangoyomi! The plot was very well written and wanted me, the reader, wanting more! Even though the main character, Ododo, was raised by a less than supportive mother, she had the love and support of her "aunties". I believe that this support gave Ododo the strength and ability to speak out (much to the dismay of her mother). Ododo's kidnapping at the market, finds her far from home, where she discovers that she is to become the bride of the Alaafin. I am looking forward to reading the remainder of this wonderfully written novel!
