I am already a fan of the world-building. Set in Timbuktu, a woman is kidnapped and finds out that she is going to be a bride to a man that happened upon her selling spot. She is used to being near her mother and other 'witches' in her community and now has to deal with all the shock. I'm intrigued and can't wait to read more.
