This book so far is incredibly descriptive and puts you right into the setting. I haven't read many books set in Nigeria, especially not any that are historical fantasies, and I found it completely immersive. The cover is also beautiful and intricately designed. I hope to see this develop into an interesting Hades/Persephone retelling!
