For a very specific audience
Right off the bat I’m not drawn to this book at all—the cover does very little to interest a reader.
The writing is strong enough, but my initial thought is that this wouldn’t appeal to most people, unless your marriage was going though a really rough patch. The examples in this book are not usual—it’s an MS diagnosis, losing a million dollars, etc. I couldn’t help but think “my marriage isn’t going through any of this (and probably won’t) and is strong, nothing about this is relatable.”
I’m sure this could help people who are looking for a Christian focus to guide them through a storm in their relationship.
