I’m not huge on self help, in general, but “experts” on things like marriage are especially unappealing. We are not carbon copy couples or carbon copy people. To make matters worse, this book starts off with pages and pages of praise for the book. Yuck. I don’t trust anyone who depends on that much self promotion. And the actual writing is terrible. We have to stop letting people tell us who we are and how we should function. Maybe people will find tips in books like this, but it still isn’t a one size fits all concept and I, personally, find this kind of content harmful to people trying so hard and falling prey to comparison.
