I honestly didn't know the game had been around THAT long, but it was interesting to find out. Some of the cards are as valuable, if not more so, than football or sports cards. That too was surprising.
The cover really draws the reader's attention and the author went to great lengths to research this.
This isn't for kids, but rather those who are serious about the "game" or a collector looking to score some great bargains. Or someone looking to unload their cards.
Either way, this is definitely a much needed resource for "Magic: The Gathering" fans.
