It's hard to review a book that is a guide, but this is a great resource for any MTG collector, new or old. My family used the book to go through our collection and we were able to learn new things about some of the cards that we owned and found images of cards that we did not have and were excited to find. The guide is easy to understand at multiple age levels. The pictures are nice and the information is accurate.
If I were to say one thing about this book is that I wish that the cover was not so loud. Just because it is a guide for a trading card game, doesn't mean that the book needs to scream it. Especially when shelved next to our other games books, it stands out like a sore thumb. But, I guess we shouldn't judge books by their cover.
