So I am not into Magic the Gathering, though my nephews have tried to get me involved. This would definitely be a book I would get them for a Christmas gift or birthday gift. I will say this book so far was very informative and explained some things and clarified some others. If you or someone you know is a MTG lover this is perfect. I didn't realize how big and popular this was until I read this first impression (shocked that there are tournaments and things of that nature). It is definitely a very informative book and has a lot of detail about the cards, about the sets you get and what each one can do.
