The only person I have known in the magical-card world was some guy on eBay about 15 years ago who thought it was funny not to send me a CD I'd bought from him and paid $13.75 for. He was a "major player" in the field, I believe, and participated in various tournaments, and all the other players complained he was some sort of cheater.
So I'm not immensely knowledgeable, but I'm interested to learn more in an art-history and collectibles way!
