This book starts off right away with a murder, and family drama between two twin sisters, one a witch, and one human.
They haven't seen each other for years and were not always on the best terms. They even had to alternate Christmas's with their Father because of there feuding.
Before they both know it the Gamble sister is going to be closer than ever (literally), because now they both work at the same place.
While Ivy is on the hunt for who killed a teacher at the school, she starts to realize things about herself that she never has before. And one of those things is, she's a liar.
Ivy fears she will not be able to complete the job that is asked for her because of her experience and low profile cases, but what Ivy does uncover is something unimaginable and hits home big time.
It's a great, fast-paced novel that grips you by the throat with suspense and carries you through the book so fast that when it's over you'll be wanting more.
And if you like Harry Potter than you will definitely like Magic For Liars because its similar but not quite at the same time...
