Wow! It's hard for me to come up with the words. That was quite the ride. I was intrigued from practically page one, but the last 50 pages?!?! I felt like I couldn't read them fast enough! I had to stop myself from skipping paragraphs, so I didn't actually spoil anything for myself, lol.
While I loved this book, I do wish that a little more time had been spent on world building, and delving a little deeper into how the magic actually worked within this world. But, that's a small thing, and I loved this book so much. If you grew up reading Harry Potter than this one will be one that you will want to read! Also, I loved this author, and am so glad that I am finding them when they are starting out! I look forward to their next book - I will be first in line when it is released!
