Have you ever read a book that drew you in from the very first sentence to the very last? That was this book for me. I started reading and did not stop until it was over, reading it all in one sitting and then seriously considering starting it again. Sarah Gailey's writing is straightforward in syntax and just a little bizarre in content. If you haven't read anything by her, I strongly suggest you change that.
Interesting, intriguing, and completely original and entertaining. This story had so many elements that I think a lot of us who were raised on Harry Potter look for: Magic, mystery, a little bit of outsider feelings, and now that we're grown some impulse foul language and a touch of sexy time. I was here for this book, trying to figure out the mystery and coming away completely surprised.
