This was a fantastic debut novel and I am so happy that I was able to read this. This was something that I would have read when I was in middle/beginning of high school. It was still a good read.
What drew me to this was the cover. The cover peaked my interest more than the first look that was provided by Bookish First. The cover is beautiful and unique.

I loved the twist at the end of the book, the mystery was fantastic, and Ivy is one of my favorite characters. I really enjoyed the exploration between Ivy and Tabitha. That whole dynamic between the sisters was really interesting and I felt like their relationship was tied up at the end of the story.

It was a quick read and a lot of fun. I did guess the ending about half way through the book. I still would fully recommend this to anyone, even if this genre isn't their cup of tea. I wish that it wasn't a standalone but I can't wait to see what the author comes up with next.
