This is going to be one of my favorite series. It seems to cover quite a few genres. It almost feels like a cozy mystery. If you like paranormal mysteries, you will love this. The whodunnit drove me crazy with wanting to know the culprit. From the very beginning, I couldn’t help but think it had the feel of the Harry Potter books, but was also so different than them. I guess it was the school setting and magic. This is an original story. I just wish the cover was better. It almost turned me off from wanting to read it. This is one book that shouldn’t be judged by the cover lol. The world building and characters are so well done. I couldn’t get enough of them. I LOVED the main character. She was so genuine and fun.
