Once again I didn’t read this while it was still up for raffle and I’m so disappointed because this book is fantastic! It has a magical school which after “Harry Potter” and “The Magicians” is one of my obsessions. The writing is superb with great word choice. It definitely feels magical from the start. The cover is actually what kind of threw me off. It is very bright and rather than catch my attention it made me look away from how bright it is. This is one of those judged the book by its cover moments that I regret. I wonder how often I do this and miss out on amazing books. Overall my opinion is that fantasy readers will greatly enjoy this book. I will definitely buy it for myself and may buy it for the school library as well.
