Haunting. I think I loved it. There are some holes but maybe that’s how it’s meant to be!
I keep coming back and thinking of this book which makes me believe I loved it more now than maybe I did while reading it. I enjoy all the characters and I like this little school world and magic system that has been built. I don't usually mind plot holes but something about this book made the ones that stood out to me work. But over all its a great standalone urban fantasy with the typical PI trope, usually these types of books involve a long series but this was a great slice of life. Some light romance in the background with some F/F past romance involved. I can't say too much without giving away some of the plot. Anyone who enjoys urban fantasy, contemporary magic and trying to build back up broken family relationships (in this case sisters) should give this a read!
